What is membership in the DC Spanking Network exactly?

Membership isn't "formal" -- it just means you have access to our Discord Server and our Munches. Learn more about our resources or request an invite.

Does membership cost money?

Membership is free. We do not charge an entry fee or dues.

I want to meet up in real life! What kind of events are there?

We host public munches / group outings to places of interest. We post pretty regularly about these events in our Discord server.

What is a munch?

A munch is a gathering of spankos in a public place, usually a place where we can “munch” on some tasty food while getting to know each other and talk about our favorite subject. We’ve had munches at bars, restaurants, on the monuments, local festivals and more! A munch is NOT a gathering where spanking play occurs.

Can I invite anyone to the event?

We welcome all spankos, supportive non-spanko partners, and general kinksters at our public munches. If it’s a private event, be sure to ask the organizer if it’s ok. f you’re unsure, always ask.

Well where DOES spanking play occur?

Spanking play happens at spanking parties. You might have heard about a party happening around the area. As a policy, the organizers of this discord do not host any “official” DC, Virginia, or Maryland spanking parties. Any party that happens is a private event. As such, the organizers of the party hold the right to invite whoever they want. We may promote larger parties such as TASSP or Cheeky as opportunities to connect with the regional or national scene.

How do I get invited to a private party/why was I not invited to this party?

We all want to be included and it never feels good when you hear about a party that you weren’t invited to. This feeling can be especially powerful if you’ve never played before or haven’t in a long time. The best way to get invited is to be involved in the community. Post on discord to share your interests and passions beyond just spanking. Share a picture of your cat or some art you made or something cool you did. Come to munches and show you’re more than just a screen name and profile picture. Cultivate real friendships and support those friends. Be a person that someone would WANT to invite to not just a spanking party, but a party in general.

Planning parties is a big endeavor. They are expensive, time consuming, stressful to host, and difficult to schedule. You might not be invited due to your location or because the house’s capacity was maxed out. But also important is to remember that people who host parties want to celebrate themselves with friends they feel comfortable and safe enough to be vulnerable with.
